POST-PRODUCTION & FOLEY PROJECT
As my most recent senior year project, I had to choose a short video clip from any movie, short film, show, or any visually engaging content. My task was to remove its original audio and recreate it entirely from scratch. I used dynamic and condenser microphones, as well as my phone, to record various Foley sounds. Discovering creative uses for everyday objects and anything else I could find was a truly unique experience that challenged my imagination and resourcefulness.
I combined the sounds I recorded with audio sourced from the internet to accurately recreate each effect. Using techniques like layering, compression, EQ, distortion, and reverb, I transformed the clips into a cohesive and engaging soundscape. Once I completed the sound effects, I sourced royalty-free music that closely matched the original clip’s tone and atmosphere. You can view a side-by-side comparison of my recreated audio and the original clip below:

Project History
MY MIXES
In September 2024, I embarked on my journey as a mixing engineer, diving into the intricacies of mix preparation. Using tools like compressors, EQs, reverb, and delay, I brought my creative vision to life. Through hands-on experience, I learned to refine my mixes, ensuring each element came together seamlessly. Once the mixing process was complete, I further expanded my skills by mastering the final product, enhancing the sound for a polished, professional finish.
ADVERTISEMENT PROJECT
As a sophomore, I created an advertisement for a school assignment in November 2022. I began by writing a script for a fictional product, the Casio PR-35. Using Logic Pro X, I composed the background instrumental with Apple Loops and various MIDI instruments. Once the instrumental was complete, I exported it as a WAV file and transferred it to Pro Tools, where my teacher recorded my voiceover. With added compression, EQ, and reverb, I finalized the project, which can be found on the left.
After learning the fundamentals of recording from my teacher, I was entrusted with the role of audio engineer for my peers’ projects. Over time, I engineered more than 10 advertisement projects, professionally recording and editing voiceovers and soundtracks to ensure a polished and cohesive final product.
VOCAL
ARRANGEMENTS
As a singer, I’ve enhanced my vocal skills by creating vocal arrangements for live concerts, short performances, and personal projects. These experiences have taught me how to blend voices seamlessly, choose effective intervals, and spontaneously craft harmonies, further developing my musical versatility.
DANCE MIXES
Beginning with the 2022-2023 school year, I became actively involved in schoolwide events such as Battle of the Classes, where dance competitions took center stage. Leveraging my skills in Logic Pro X and Pro Tools, I created custom dance mixes designed to complement each choreography. This role required clear communication and collaboration as I worked closely with choreographers to ensure their musical vision was brought to life.
To seamlessly blend songs, audio clips, and sound effects, I carefully analyzed each track, using techniques like fades, delays, echoes, and pitch shifts to craft cohesive and engaging mixes. These efforts elevated the performances and created memorable experiences for both dancers and the audience.
My work includes creating dance mixes for events such as:
