About Me

I’m Florence Ria Villa, an aspiring music industry professional. Raised in Jersey City, New Jersey, I’ve always been fueled by creativity—it shapes how I see the world and express myself through music, art, and every project I take on. From an early age, music has been a significant part of my life. Surrounded by talented individuals who brought their artistry to life on and off stage, I was inspired to join the children’s choir in second grade. Shortly after, I began voice and violin lessons, discovering the joy and inspiration that music brings.

Since then, I’ve continued to challenge myself by exploring new music genres, learning instruments, and mastering production software. Music has always been my outlet for growth and self-discovery. My experiences as both a performer and someone working behind the scenes have shaped my vision for a future in the music industry. I’m excited to embrace opportunities that will help me grow as a professional and as an individual.

Certifications

Thanks to the incredible opportunities provided by my school, I obtained my Pro Tools Specialist certification during my junior year—a milestone that has shaped my journey in music production. My introduction to industry-standard software like Logic Pro X and Pro Tools came during my sophomore year, sparking a deep interest in audio engineering and production. Since then, I have utilized these tools extensively to bring my creative projects to life, from recording original compositions to producing polished mixes that resonate with listeners.

In addition to mastering digital audio workstations, I pursued advanced training in audio networking, earning my Dante Level 3 certification. This accomplishment underscores my commitment to understanding the technical side of sound, ensuring seamless and professional-quality audio in both live and studio settings. These experiences have not only honed my technical skills but have also deepened my passion for crafting music that connects with audiences on a profound level.
